VSD personnel Chuck Wythe, John Jackson, and Fred Stewart participated in a Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia November 14-18, 2008. The Trade Mission is planned and provided through the Division of International Trade, which is part of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP).
VSD personnel Chuck Wythe, John Jackson, and Fred Stewart participated in a Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia November 14-18, 2008. The Trade Mission is planned and provided through the Division of International Trade, which is part of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP).
VEDP exists to provide companies an opportunity to expand their reach beyond their local area to international businesses. Fred Stewart stated that, “Traveling on the 2008 USSABC-VEDP Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia strongly re-enforced our guiding principles that in today’s increasingly complex business world companies must be innovative, entrepreneurial, and global. Thanks to the reputation of the U.S.- Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, we were able to find and engage with organizations that have a need for our products and services.”
VSD will be traveling back to Saudi Arabia in late January of 2009.
