U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council Hosts Roundtable with Incoming Senior Commercial Officer Kayani

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) hosted an executive level discussion with the incoming Senior Commercial Officer Amer Kayani and several of the Council’s members at its Vienna, Virginia office on July 23, 2009.

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) hosted an executive level discussion with the incoming Senior Commercial Officer Amer Kayani and several of the Council’s members at its Vienna, Virginia office on July 23, 2009.

This event provided an opportunity for USSABC members to interface with Mr. Kayani before he travels to Riyadh on August 3, 2009 to assume his post. VSD joined representatives from the U.S. Government and nine other companies in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Fred Stewart, the Director of International Business Development at VSD, was able to meet individually with Mr. Kayani as well as with the USSABC’s President and Managing Director Edward Burton.

Mr. Kayani, who plans to work closely with the Business Council and U.S. companies, gave an overview of the U.S. Commercial Service’s desire to assist American companies doing business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
