Fred Stewart, Chuck Wythe and Paul GrossmanAt the recent Virginia Conference on World Trade banquet held in Richmond, Va., VSD was awarded the Commonwealth of Virginia Compass Award for Excellence in International Trade. The final award of the evening, the Compass Award was presented by Paul H. Grossman Jr. from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. Chuck Wythe accepted on behalf of VSD. The Commonwealth of Virginia presents this award to recognize a Virginia business that has excelled in global trade. The award recipient will have increased its international profile while promoting the best interests of its employees and surrounding community, contributing to the economic health and quality of life of Virginians while positively representing the Commonwealth in the international arena.
