VSD employees participated in Extra Life’s annual worldwide 24-hour video game marathon Saturday, Oct. 15, raising a total of $3,261 for the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. VSD’s Virginia Beach corporate headquarters conference room was transformed into a 24-hour game room as Team VSD and Friends played video games on consoles, computers, and cell phones for 24 hours straight. Donations from VSD employees, family, and friends combined with VSD’s matching donation of $500 contributed to more than $1 million raised worldwide by this year’s event for the benefit of Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
